Hi, I’m Darby Borntrager — an educator, coach, and advocate for young children and those who care for them.

For over a decade, I’ve been dedicated to supporting early childhood programs, teachers, and leaders. From my roots as an early childhood special education teacher to my work as a state trainer with Kansas MTSS & Alignment, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless educators and programs as they build strong, intentional systems that help every child thrive.

While I’m stepping into a new role as Assistant Principal at Haven Elementary, my passion for early childhood remains at the heart of my work. I believe the foundation built in the earliest years shapes everything that follows — and I love helping schools, childcare programs, and educators create environments where relationships flourish, learning happens naturally, and every milestone is celebrated.
